Short: Datatypes to Spectrum SCR/TAP/ZX82/TZX/bytes

Version: 2.4
PDHFIC 2.4
----------
Ever wanted to convert images from your Amiga over to a Spectrum (or even an
emulator)? Well, where have you been? This is the third in a long(ish)
line of programs I've written/ported to allow you to do just that.
If you used to use PPMtoSCR and NetPBM to convert images, then you should
really be looking at gfx/pbm/ppmtoscr.lha
PDHFIC is the ultimate way to convert pictures to the Spectrum format - it
features a small GUI, dynamic rescaling and Datatypes support. It converts
pictures in COLOUR, even supporting attributes like BRIGHT and FLASH.
It can be run from CLI or Workbench, and even sports a nifty little ARexx
port.
And, yes, the documentation is a shameless rip-off of the old PPMtoSCR guide.
If you haven't been convinced to try it yet, then check out the example SCRs
(GIFs, actually) on the ppmtoscr (& PDHFIC) support pages at;

Changes from previous release
-----------------------------
Many apologies to people experiencing countless problems with PDHFIC 2.0 and
2.1 - it worked fine for me (well, 2.1 did anyway). These problems should
now all be fixed...
* Will now warn you if extscale is not available, rather than producing
weird images.
* Now tells you how many pixels were of the FLASH variety
* If SCR2GIF is available, PDHFIC can now create Spectrum-style web
graphics.
* Snapshot window option
