  10. Ever wanted to convert images from your Amiga over to a Spectrum (or even an
  11. emulator)?  Well, where have you been?  This is the third in a long(ish)
  12. line of programs I've written/ported to allow you to do just that.
  13.  
  14. If you used to use PPMtoSCR and NetPBM to convert images, then you should
  15. really be looking at gfx/pbm/ppmtoscr.lha
  16.  
  17. PDHFIC is the ultimate way to convert pictures to the Spectrum format - it
  18. features a small GUI, dynamic rescaling and Datatypes support.  It converts
  19. pictures in COLOUR, even supporting attributes like BRIGHT and FLASH.

  21. It can be run from CLI or Workbench, and even sports a nifty little ARexx
  22. port.

  24. And, yes, the documentation is a shameless rip-off of the old PPMtoSCR guide.

  34. Many apologies to people experiencing countless problems with PDHFIC 2.0 and
  35. 2.1 - it worked fine for me (well, 2.1 did anyway).  These problems should
  36. now all be fixed...
